Overview

Babbleroot ("we") knows readers here are often sleep-deprived and just want a straight answer — we try to be just as straightforward about what we do with your data. This page covers what we collect when you read this site and how it's used.

What we collect

You don't need an account to read anything on Babbleroot. We use Vercel Web Analytics — a privacy-friendly tool that doesn't use cookies or store personal identifiers — to see how many people are reading, in aggregate. If you email us, we keep that thread only as long as we need to reply.

Cookies

Right now this site only sets cookies that are strictly necessary for it to run. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies today. If that changes, we'll ask for your consent before any such cookie is set.

Hosting and infrastructure

This site runs on Vercel and reads its content from a Supabase database. Both providers may process basic technical data (like IP addresses) as part of delivering pages to you.

Affiliate links

Some articles link to product pages on Amazon. We never receive any personal data about a purchase made through those links — Amazon handles the transaction under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Use the contact details on our Legal Notice page to exercise these rights.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised version.
